On Sunday, 2 May, Israel illegally attacked at least 38 Lebanese towns in a single day, directly ignoring, once against, the ceasefire agreement.

🔴Summary of Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory on 3/5/2026:

Israel is repeatedly flattening whole villages, destroying homes and murdering civilians. It continues employing the exact same tactics it has been using in Gaza.

Shocking to see the destruction by IDF in #Lebanon with whole villages razed to the ground, destruction of 50,000 homes, & over 2,600 dead & over 8,000 injured since latest bombing began on 2 March. Same tactics as in #Gaza. When, if ever, will there be accountability? https://t.co/Z2ADUd9B5P

Now, Israel has issued new ‘evacuation orders’ for more than 10 more villages and towns in southern Lebanon. This includes several in the Nabatieh district, north of the Litani River.

So far today, Israel has attacked at least six towns.

The Israeli army using language in forced displacement orders to manufacture consent to kill more civilians. “Anyone who is near Hezbollah elements…”

Importantly, though, ‘evacuation orders’ is nothing but ethnic cleansing, which is a war crime.

This is again, despite there supposedly being a ceasefire in place.

After issuing the evacuation orders, Israel then bombed several towns, including some that were not included in the evacuation orders.

Israel is using its bullshit ‘yellow line’ tactic as it has in Gaza. Essentially, it is a ‘temporary military zone’ stretching 10km inside southern Lebanon.

Obviously, Israel intends to illegally occupy the area permanently, as it has with Gaza.

However, resistance fighters are fighting back.

After all, it is their sovereign territory, and the Lebanese have that right under international law to defend their land.

‘Ceasefire’

Only today, Nabih Berri, Lebanon’s Parliament Speaker, said there can not be negotiations with Israel without a halt to its attacks on southern Lebanon.

🇱🇧🇮🇱 Lebanon’s parliament speaker Nabih Berri just drew a clear line: no negotiations with Israel until the war stops.

Meanwhile, Israel ordered 4 more Lebanese villages evacuated today.

Hezbollah carried out 11 operations yesterday.

And still, the IDF are demolishing homes… https://t.co/JO0cQngl8t pic.twitter.com/ToWfPDRezW

Again, Israel is continuously ignoring the ‘ceasefire’ to attack southern Lebanon.

Would anyone be calling it a ceasefire if it were Israelis being killed, rather than Lebanese people?

“Despite ceasefire”

Would you call it a ceasefire if DOZENS were killed in Israel? https://t.co/EtThMsQwXO

Of course, the West doesn’t care when Israel is murdering Muslims.

Israel has not once obeyed this ceasefire, or any other ceasefire for that matter.

It is using the cover of a pretend ceasefire to drop more bombs, steal more land, and kill more civilians. It did it in Gaza, it’s doing it again in Lebanon, and the genocidal settler-colony will not stop until it has achieved its goal of a ‘Greater Israel‘.
