Investigation reveals Starmer’s general secretary’s marriage to Israeli arms lobbyist

A new investigation by Declassified UK has revealed that Labour’s general secretary, Hollie Ridley, is married to arms lobbyist Teddy Ryan, who represents UK companies belonging to Israeli arms giant Rafael.

The couple’s powerful roles form yet another overlap between the top of Starmer’s hollowed-out ‘Labour’ and companies profiting from Israel’s Gaza genocide and its war on other neighbours that contributes to explaining why the Starmer regime refuses to take meaningful action against Israel’s genocide – or even to classify it as genocide at all, despite genocide experts, human rights groups and United Nations experts all confirming that it is.

Well, that and the fact that Israeli and pro-Israel donors, and arms firms, have donated massive amounts of cash to Starmer, his front bench and other influential parliamentary groups, who approved more arms sales to Israel in a few months than the Tories did in four years.
