Breaking: Mandelson now says ‘Epstein was not a paedophile’

Blairite Labour peer Peter Mandelson, removed as UK ambassador to the US over revelations of his closeness to serial child-rapist and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, has said that he does not believe Epstein was a paedophile.

Mandelson now says ‘Epstein was not a paedophile’

In an article in today’s Times, the self-justifying right-winger is reported as telling friends ‘categorically’ that calling Epstein a paedophile is ‘disingenuous’:

Even on this, the Labour peer disagrees. He does not believe, despite the conviction for soliciting child prostitutes, and the numerous allegations that surfaced before his death, that Epstein was a paedophile. He sees this as a disingenuous interpretation of Epstein’s modus operandi, which he thinks was to host parties for financial associates where young models, mostly adults, were available for sex and would often be well paid…

…The position he has shared with friends is as categorical as it is incendiary. He believes he has been singled out, but also that Epstein was effectively a “swinger’’, someone who was addicted to open relationships and who procured young female models to parties for the enjoyment of rich men. This does not, Mandelson believes, make Epstein a paedophile, despite his criminal conviction for child sex offences.

Like Israel, which he served, and apparently like Mandelson, it seems Jeffrey Epstein was the eternal victim and simply misunderstood by over-sensitive mere mortals.

Epstein was a revolting individual and an exploiter of both underage and young adult girls. He deserved to be locked up and the keys thrown away. However whilst it is public, common knowledge that he personally abused under age girls and that he undoubtedly was a peadophile with several having come forward, or were tracked down by investigators, to make statements about their own abuse at his (& others’) hands, he was not, what you and most media outlets are repeating, convicted of “child/underage sex crimes” or “soliciting for sex with minors”. He pleaded guilty to “Solicitation” – without any mention of the age of the victims. The file which was put before a Grand Jury in order to get arrest and search warrants, containing evidence of the abuse and/or solicitation of underage girls was never used in court. All the charges regarding underage girls were dropped in a ‘No Prosecution Deal’ (a “plea’ deal) which only contained “Solicitation” as the sole charge to which he entered a guilty plea and was sentenced according to the “Sweetheart” deal negotiated by his Lawyers with Alex Acosta, the then State Attorney for Florida.
So while it is in fact Mandelson who is being “disingenuous” by NOT accepting the fact that his “Best Pal” was a nonce, when clearly he was, it is still inaccurate to suggest he was convicted of those crimes.

Coming soon; Pope not Catholic, bears don’t shit in the woods. Mandy is, I think, a fixer, a deal maker, one who brings parties together behind the scenes to do clandestine deals. I believe that was his real job in America and he was busy at this on bahalf of Starner’s government (which means up to no good as far as the UK electorate are concerned) when the hue and cry after him began, which explains why Starmer was so reluctant to bring him back even when it became obvious his position was untenable.
He should be removed from the Lords too, and have the whip removed.
