‘Mainstream’ media rush to provide cover for Israel’s attack on flotilla

Last night, the Israeli terror regime attacked and seized more than forty humanitarian aid boats, crewed by volunteers, taking desperately-needed aid to Gaza to help the hundreds of thousands starving to death under Israel’s criminal starvation blockade.

UK and other Western media have rushed to cover for the rogue state’s actions and eagerly regurgitate its propaganda and excuses.

Headline after headline ignores the fact that the attacks were in international waters and an unequivocal crime under maritime law as well as international humanitarian and conflict law:

Israeli claims and excuses were treated as credible and factual, despite Israel’s unbroken record of lies throughout two years of genocide (and long before that); Israel’s ‘linked to Hamas’ smear is so easily debunked that its ‘evidence’ hinges on a mis-identified picture of George Galloway, who is not with or connected to the humanitarian flotilla. Yet that is repeated, unscrutinised and without qualification:

The ‘MSM’ weaselling contrasts with that of human rights organisations, who have not held back from highlighting the flagrant criminality (yet again) of Israel’s actions:

The collusion of UK and western media in Israel’s genocide should one day be used in evidence against the perpetrators before the International Criminal Court. In a world with any shred of justice, it would already be happening.
