UKIP leader Nick Tenconi shows himself to be complete buffoon in new speech

Hitler-saluting UKIP leader Nick Tenconi, a man with no power and few prospects of getting any, has said he’ll deploy the military to get rid of communists and Islamists.

He’s most famous for publicly incorporating Nazi salutes into his shit dancing:

Flanked by flags, Tenconi told a (presumably quite small) audience:

I will close the borders. I will deploy the military into Britain to round up the Islamists and the communists. the illegals and the migrants claiming welfare.

Nick Tenconi: clearly a well-loved figure

Nick Tenconi’s Twitter bio also describes him as “COO Turning Point UK” – the weirdly American far-right Christian cult headed by the late Charlie Kirk.

Social media responded with Tenconi with great affection. Old friend of the Canary, Curtis Daly, offered a lengthy and scholarly critique:

Another X user couldn’t see how this was all going to work given UKIP had no seats and a political constituency composed of Nick Tenconi himself, three embittered men in a pub in Kent whose kids won’t speak to them, and a ageing rottweiler called Keith:

The truth is UKIP is a shadow of what it once was. That doesn’t mean the far-right isn’t dangerous. Whether in its electoral form – Reform UK – or in its street thug variety like Tommy Robinson’s people, it lives on.

But the hard fact remains: Nick Tenconi has about of much chance of getting control of the army as your nan. And that’s something we should all take the piss out of him about.
