Ironically, ICE’s primary weakness is literally ‘ice’

The ICE incursion into Minnesota has been harrowing to watch. As ever, despite claims of ‘supremacy’, fascist uprisings are always facilitated by the most buffoonish among us. This means that between the horror, we’ve been confronted by countless shots of these societal rejects decking it:

ICE, ice babies

We’ve seen multiple images and videos of ICE agents taking a tumble, as shown here:

One of the funniest videos of all time.

– Slips like a cartoon character on a banana peel
– Professional photographer there
– Woman literally jumping for joy
– So embarrassed he runs runs away
– Raucous cheers for the top embarrassing moment of his life pic.twitter.com/DrhW2m1sMX

🚨 CAUGHT ON TAPE: Two ICE agents slip on ice in Minnesota —causing one of their weapons to discharge because it wasn’t set on safety.

These people are dangerously negligent.

Is it surprising that these dopes can barely stand upright?

Not according to recent reporting, with one insider suggesting that many of these men can barely ‘tie their shoelaces’:

The explosive Daily Mail report found that the administration’s $50,000 signing bonus attracted droves of unqualified recruits — high school grads who can “barely read or write,” overweight candidates with doctor’s notes saying they’re unfit, and even applicants with pending criminal charges.

The report exposed how Immigration and Customs Enforcement took a blowtorch to hiring standards, with one Department of Homeland Security official blasting: “We have people failing open-book tests and we have folks that can barely read or write English.”

Backlash

Following the backlash to their thuggish and murderous behaviour, ICE veterans are reportedly uncomfortable with what’s happening. As reported by Ken Klippenstein:

“There might be some immature knuckleheads who think they are out there trying to capture Nicolas Maduro, but most field officers see a clear need for deescalation,” a high level career official at Homeland Security headquarters in Washington also told me. “There is genuine fear that indeed ICE’s heavy handedness and the rhetoric from Washington is more creating a condition where the officers’ lives are in danger rather than the other way around.”

We’ve no respect for the ICE veterans either, but it is worth knowing that things are on a downward trajectory.

Klippenstein further reports that the Department of Homeland Security has felt a need to remind agents what is and isn’t legal — namely what they can and can’t easily get away with. This is clearly a sign that the administration is worried about a bigger backlash brewing.

Despite this, the veteran also said:

“It sounds like they’re entering a war zone,” says senior intelligence official, who has been involved in discussions about calming the waters around ICE deployments. “Telling a bunch of 20-somethings to be prepared for war — and terrorism — creates the very condition officials are cautioning about.”

Do we want this?

Imagine the stupidest, angriest, most unemployable person you’ve ever met. Now imagine that person being parachuted into a position of authority, with the government actively encouraging them to commit mayhem in your community.

As ridiculous as it sounds, this is exactly what British politicians like Kemi Badenoch and Nigel Farage are seemingly planning for the UK:

So #BadEnoch and #Farage want #ICE-style #Gestapo Units on the streets of Britain, does she? Randomly targeting people of colour, behind a mask, with no ID?

You know when we call Reform and Tories '#Fascist' ?

This. This is why. pic.twitter.com/Za3ijaNK0S
