Gentile Steve Reed just suggested Jewish Polanski is an antisemite

Under Keir Starmer, the Labour Party has become historically unpopular. As a result of this, the party is facing the worst local election wipeout in modern history. And because no one in Starmer’s circle knows how to turn this around, they’ve instead decided to smear the Green Party.

For the the latest example of this, see gentile housing minister Steve Reed suggesting Jewish Zack Polanski is an antisemite:

Is Steve Reed implying Zack Polanski is an antisemite??? Really? Say it with your whole chest, coward.

2 years in govt & 6 years running Labour, this all they have. No track record, no ideas, no hope.

The death throes of an unlawful, vile project; the muscle memory of punching… https://t.co/MKd10B4isc

Would it not be more effective for the Labour Party to focus on – oh, we dunno – labour issues or something?

Unlike Polanski, Labour have nothing to offer, everything to lose

We last covered Reed on 5 May – specifically because he was bragging that the UK lost 6,000 council homes last year under Labour. If you’re thinking ‘that’s a funny thing to brag about‘, just be aware he didn’t necessarily paint an honest picture of the situation:

Steve Reed boasting: "If you look at just last year, we built more council homes than in any year for 35 years"

In 2024-25 just 2,260 council homes were built & in the same period 8,656 were sold through right to buy. pic.twitter.com/QWItkmuxHb

Recently, Reed has taken on a new job – becoming Labour’s minister for stalking Zack Polanski:

Absolutely tone deaf.

The Greens will be delighted to lean into this. Labour has no idea that not only does this nonsense not work any more – post genocide it positively angers people. https://t.co/hYeeWDv90t

— Richard Sanders (@PulaRJS) April 15, 2026

If you’re wondering why Richard Sanders of Double Down News is referring to this as “nonsense”, it’s because both Labour and Reed have been caught spinning these lies before.

In Paul Holden’s The Fraud, the investigative journalist wrote the following about Reed:

Reed’s involvement in the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) is both instructive and disturbing; indeed, he is one of the more chilling figures encountered in researching this book. Two things are worth noting here, both of which are set out in more detail later.

First, party files show that Reed had a history of accusing people of antisemitism on the basis of arguably tendentious evidence; as noted above, this included submitting complaints dossiers to the party that demanded the immediate suspension of four left-wing, anti-Zionist Jews. Party files also show that Reed submitted complaints about left-wing members of his local constituency, accusing them of antisemitism for, amongst other things, sharing factually accurate news stories.

Reed and his faction maneuvered Starmer into power with dirty tactics like the above. Now these same politicians are complaining that the media is focussing on Labour Party drama:

Asked about getting rid of Starmer, Steve Reed, who helped co-found 'Labour Together', the organisation that ran a secret campaign to destroy the then Labour leadership and regain control of the party, says Labour needs to focus outwards on what the British public want. pic.twitter.com/UuK5WJlqkE

— Saul Staniforth (@SaulStaniforth) May 5, 2026

While Reed is accusing Polanski of being an antisemite, UK media outlets are depicting the Green Party as an antisemitic caricature:

I expect the 'Campaign Against Antisemitism' will be along any minute to robustly defend Zack Polanski & condemn the hateful cartoons of him in The Sun, Telegraph, Daily Mail & The Times in recent days. Or is he the wrong kind of Jew ( i.e. antizionist)@antisemitism pic.twitter.com/FgbylfFyNn

— g (@goldmartin) May 6, 2026

Why isn’t Reed calling this out?

In all of these cartoons, the cartoonists decided to give Polanski a giant ‘hook nose’ – a common trope in Nazi depictions of Jewish people. Polanski does not have a ‘hook nose’, large or otherwise. The choice to give him such a feature is clearly designed to highlight his Jewishness.

This is an odd thing for these outlets to do, when between the cartoons they’re pretending to care about antisemitism.

Reed not right

‘The Muslim Vote’ account on Twitter/X has pointed out the following regarding Reed:

Steve Reed: Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government.

He oversees councils, planning, and elections in England.

He's now Labour's loudest voice attacking Polanski.

But his own record? Buried by the press: pic.twitter.com/pgALBNouuX

— The Muslim Vote (@themuslimvoteuk) May 6, 2026

Zack Polanski opposes Israel’s genocide against the Palestinian people; Steve Reed takes donations from Israel-supporting backers.

This isn’t a hard situation to understand.
