Hungarian elections: far-right anti-EU Zionist loses to right-wing, pro-EU Zionist

Right-wing extremist – and antisemitic friend of Israel – Viktor Orbán has conceded the Hungarian general election. With two-thirds of the vote counted, his right-wing rival Péter Magyar is on course for what the BBC describes as a “landslide” victory.

Hungarian elections: two cheeks… etc etc

The sudden concession has thrown UK state-corporate media into a spin, with some announcing it and the landslide while others, at the time of writing, say it’s still being fought and is close:

As the careful reader will have noted, both men are right-wingers. Quite hard right-wingers. But while Orbán is EU-phobic, Magyar has promised closer ties with the union. However, Magyar is not expected to change Hungary’s defence of Israel against any stray EU anti-genocide measures in any significant way.

Great. Another rigged ‘two cheeks of the same arse’ result while Israel continues to slaughter and destabilise.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss? Since Hungary is now a two party system as a result of the election, the winner with an inflated seat majority, perhaps that isn’t surprising.

What matters is a fascistic neo dictator has lost, despite or vecause of the active support of Trump/ Vance and Putin. He has been defeated by a mass turn out driven by young voters fed up of the corruption, incompetence and economic failure.
The site of hu xreds of thousands rejoicing in Budapest is heartening. Hungary will no longer block EU support for Ukraine. These things matter and are not to be sneered at.
Yes the new leader is right wing and it will take further struggle to overturn Orban’s monopoly over the media, the courts and the public sector, but the momentum is now with the antifascists.
This can be used to reform nof just Hungary but the blockages inherent in unanimous voting requirements by the EU.
This could with luck and hard work mark the turning point ending the rise of fascism, we must seize the day

        What a pile of…

Great. So now the EU is going to print E90,000,000,000 and hand it to the most corrupt regime on Earth, to continue forcefully CONSCRIPTING its people and sending them to die with zero training as drone fodder, just so there’s still a chance that Western banksters might somehow ‘win’ the war and cash in. Isn’t 1.6 MILLION dead Ukrainian conscripts blood enough for you?

And that’s just the beginning. There’ll be Tns more where that was thrown away, with monstrously corrupt leadership like VDL taking their usual “5% cuts” and then losing all the relevant emails when the investigation comes knocking.

And now you are cheering on the EU removing the very safeguards that prevented it becoming a full-on dictatorship as well, the national veto.

Out of interest, can you recall any other EU ‘initiative’ over the past few years other than TO GO TO WAR WITH RUSSIA?

You know, that same planned war the UK intends to conscript US for as well?

Orban was a far-right shitbag, and so is this replacement, given every advantage by the EU. This is a disaster for Europeans, a disaster for the EU, and a disaster for global PEACE. And needless to say won’t help the Palestinians/Lebanese/Iranians one little bit.

Even the Canary, a pro-EU outlet, recognised that. Shame you didn’t.
