Israel has once again intensified its killing spree in Lebanon, striking cars and residential areas and killing at least 50 people in less than 24 hours.
This is all despite a bullshit ceasefire, which the colonial state continues to ignore.
Israeli attacks have intensified across southern Lebanon despite an ongoing ceasefire. Lebanese officials say at least 50 people were killed in the last 24 hours.

As usual, as peace talks get underway between Iran and the US, Israel attempts to sabotage any possible agreement by intensifying its attacks.
The best indication that US-Iranian peace talks may be progressing is that Israel is intensifying its attacks in southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire, evidently hoping to sabotage any possible accord. https://t.co/MXjFf2tRYU

Targeted killings
Israel is literally hunting people on the streets of Lebanon, using drones to target both vehicles and people in Tyre.

A drone strike targeted a vehicle in Chouf and missed; when the men inside tried to flee, the drone targeted them again killing all three.

Israel also targeted vehicles in Saadiyat, Nabatieh, and Burj Rahal. All of these are located further north than the bullshit ‘yellow line’ that the colonial state has been illegally occupying.
Moments ago, Israel struck a small vehicle on the coastal road of Saadiyat, a vital transit point on the main highway connecting Beirut to the southern city of Sidon (Saida). 🔴 An Israeli drone strike targeted a vehicle in Burj Rahal just now, killing three people. Their crime? Driving down the road.

In Nabatieh, the Israeli drone targeted the vehicle with three consecutive strikes. It killed a Syrian man and his 12-year-old daughter.
The colonial state also murdered 14 displaced people in Saksakia, a residential area of the Sidon District.

After being forcibly evacuated from their homes in Jibchit three families sought sanctuary in Saksakiyeh.

Forgetting international law, even by its own standard, Israel is ignoring the geographical limits it set for itself in Lebanon.
On Saturday, 9 May, Israel issued nine forced evacuation orders in Tyre, on the Mediterranean coast in the south of Lebanon. This is much further north than Israel’s illegal yellow line.
Obviously, this was the terrorist state’s plan all along.
‘Peace talks’
No matter how much Israel claims to want to disarm Hezbollah, there are two stark realities.
First of all, Hezbollah only exists because Israel illegally invaded Lebanon in 1982.
Secondly, disarming Hezbollah is never going to happen.
The reality is, there will never be peace on the ground whilst Israel keeps bombing and illegally occupying Lebanon. The indigenous people, in this case Lebanese people, have a right to armed resistance under international law.
You cannot ethnically cleanse a sovereign country and then sit around a table and pretend to want peace.
‘Greater Israel’
Its illegal invasion is all part of Israel’s wet dream of a ‘Greater Israel’, which the settler-colonial state first mentioned as far back as 1967.
It is used to refer to the territories Israel illegally stole in 1967: the Palestinian territories, the Golan Heights in Syria, and Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.
However, Zionists have also referred to it as including all of Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan, along with significant parts of Syria, Iraq, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
So, of course, Israel is going to ignore every ceasefire agreement and sabotage peace talks whenever it can. It does not want peace. It never did.
It is an expansionist settler-colonial state.
Israel’s current attack is part of a prolonged and systematic colonial attempt to invade the land. The Jewish supremacist ethnostate wants power and control over Muslims, Christians, and anyone else who stands in its way, with no regard for international or humanitarian law.
