If you’ve followed the US and Israel’s war on Iran, you know that many human beings have died as a result of this latest act of imperial barbarism. If you’re an employee at Sky News, however, you may not have realised there was a ‘human element’ until a US pilot was shot out of the sky:

“It brings a human dimension to the war…” says Sky News’ military analyst about a missing American pilot from an F-15 jet.

Has Sky News ever raised that same human dimension about the US and Israel’s carpet bombing of Gaza, Lebanon and Iran? pic.twitter.com/QgRFInyLIf

— Hamza Yusuf (@Hamza_a96) April 4, 2026

This pilot wasn’t simply minding their business at 35,000 ft above sea level, by the way; they were there waging an illegal war on behalf of the Epstein Class.

Iran war — Oh, the humanity

In the clip above, Sky News’s Sean Bell explains why the channel is focussing on “one jet and one aircrew”:

it’s because tactically it’s not really significant, but strategically – if Iran manages to find the aircrew first – then the danger is we go down a path which we went down in the Gulf War when Flight Lieutenant John Peters

Bell notes that Peters was paraded around for propaganda purposes, before stating:

it touched the whole world, and it suddenly brings a human dimension to the war.

In other words, it’s a human story when a Western death dealer faces consequences; it’s a statistic when a Middle Eastern capital with thousands of years of history gets levelled.

Nearly 200 slaughtered schoolgirls didn't bring "a human dimension to the war" for this despicable creature 🤯 https://t.co/AzOmKRiwgA

The BBC faced criticism too:

On BBC news now the TOP 3 news stories are ALL about a SINGLE US pilot who was illegally bombing Iran.

They didn't give a fraction of this coverage to 185 KIDS murdered by the USA.

This isn't news, it is blatant and sickening propaganda for war and the USA. pic.twitter.com/Tw5p8TP1pZ

Bell has form with this sort of propaganda, as one commenter noted:

This is Bell’s biography on the Sky News site:

Sean Bell enjoyed a first career in the RAF where he flew Harrier fighter jets from land and sea, and served on numerous staff appointments in the Ministry of Defence and overseas.

Presumably he was just minding his own business on all his flights too.

The biography adds:

Since leaving the RAF Sean has a portfolio career which includes running a small property development company and providing defence consultancy services to national and international clients. Since 2022 Sean has been providing military analysis for Sky News, covering the Ukraine war.

‘Defence consultancy’, it says.

When the entity you’re defending is the aggressor, though, it’s really not ‘defence consultancy’, is it; it’s ‘war propaganda’.

Rescued

Trump has since claimed that they’ve rescued the downed pilot:

BREAKING: U.S. President Donald Trump says the missing F-15 crew member whose plane was shot down over Iran has been rescued.

If the president wants advice on how he can avoid this happening again, we’ll tell him what Sky News won’t: get the fuck out of West Asia.
