Oh dear, Nigel and his Reform UK limited company party have been caught in another lie. They are desperately trying to get Farage off the hook for his undeclared £5m donation but it’s not going well. Reform claimed that he had bought a posh £1.4m house with money from his appearance on I’m a Celebrity. But that’s been exposed as untrue.

Farage’s media company made a profit of £1.25m in 2025. Much of this, according to Farage himself, came from his payment for participating in the reality TV show before the 2024 general election. The company, Thorn in The Side Ltd, also boosted its cash reserves by £1.4m in the 23/24 year, according to its latest accounts.

The Financial Times wrote in February:

Nigel Farage’s personal media company made £1.25mn in profits last year bolstered by a lucrative gig participating in a reality TV show ahead of the 2024 UK general election. The Reform UK leader’s company Thorn in The Side Ltd also reported a £1.4mn increase in its cash position for the year ended May 31 2024, according to accounts filed on Tuesday.

Farage said on Wednesday that profits registered in the last financial year were largely attributable to his appearance on the ITV reality TV show I’m a Celebrity . . . Get me Out Of Here!, for which he received a £1.5mn fee

Farage — Oops

But the accounts don’t show any house purchase:

Another whopper from Farage. His Celebrity money was paid into his Thorn in the Side account (his tax dodging vehicle) and never left it to buy a house. https://t.co/rY3yZXY01s pic.twitter.com/MOaCTYKMrI

The scandal of the undeclared £5m and Farage’s self-enrichment rolls on — and porkies only magnify it.

No difference then than any of the other politicians. Blair a millionaire. Current Labour politicians all got freebies from Lord Ali. Expenses for politicians out of control. Ftee bar etc. Bills for energy in 2nd homes paid for by taxpayers. I personally think a lot are dishonest.

It’s how politicians like Farage earn their is he problem, not that politicians have money which they have earned and declared. Reformorons are like the MAGA cult and will turn a blind eye to anything Farage does.

That doesn’t justify letting Farage be even worse though — the others we can push and campaign against, try to get the rules changed to finally outright ban second jobs, taxpayer funding of multiple unnecessary homes, the mountain of freebies, lobbying etc.

Farage has always been utterly corrupt.
