The Best New Games to Try This Year

There’s never been a more interesting time to try casino games. These days, games feel bigger, louder, and way more interactive. Some are still all about simplicity. Others throw in bonus rounds, multipliers, and extra features that keep things moving. From classic slots to full-on live game shows, there’s a lot to explore.

Here are a few games worth trying this year.

Slots Are Still Running the Show

Slots are usually the first thing people try. They’re quick, and you don’t need to learn anything before starting.

Some of them keep things very simple. Starburst is still one of the most played, mostly because nothing about it feels complicated. You spin, wilds land, and the reels expand. Double Bubble is similar, but even more old-school with classic fruit symbols.

Then there are the newer ones with more going on in the background. The Big Bass series is a good example. You’re spinning like usual, but you’re also waiting for bonus rounds and collecting symbols that build up wins over time. That’s probably why this online casino games like this  has always been so popular. Big Bass Splash and Big Bass Bonanza keep things interesting with extra features like respins and multipliers.

A few games mix in bonus wheels or expanding symbols. 9 Pots of Gold has a beloved Irish theme and a ladder-style reward system, while Legacy of Dead and Eye of Horus take you to Egypt and focus on free spins where one symbol can take over the reels.

Table Games Bring the Tension

Table games feel slower, which can be a good thing. They’ve worked the same way for years, and people still play them for that exact reason.

Blackjack has a clear goal. Get as close to 21 without going over. Even if you don’t know a bunch of strategies, you can still play, as basic choices can make a difference. You make a few hit or stand decisions each round, and that’s enough to keep you involved.

Roulette is different. You bet on a number or colour and wait for the outcome. That short pause while the wheel spins is what people really enjoy. It doesn’t need extra features or changes.

Poker takes a bit more effort. It’s slower, and you actually have to pay attention to what other people are doing. You’re watching how they bet, trying to read them, deciding when to push or pull back. It’s not quick like slots, but that’s kind of the appeal.

Live Game Shows Are Changing Everything

Game shows feel closer to entertainment than traditional casino games.

Crazy Time is probably the one most people recognise. It’s loud and a bit unpredictable. You’ve got the main money wheel and four totally different bonus rounds called Cash Hunt, Pachinko, Coin Flip, and of course, Crazy Time. You’re not just placing bets and waiting here.

Lightning Storm adds even more variety with Fireball, Monster Mash, Battery Charger, Hot Spot Bonus, and Lightning Storm Bonus games. Some are quick, others take a bit longer, but they all bring big multipliers.

Then there are games like Funky Time, which goes for 70s-style themes and music, or Monopoly Live, which features augmented reality and Mr. Monopoly himself. Some games are a bit calmer. Dream Catcher includes a wheel and a host, nothing too complicated, while Mega Ball feels like a faster version of bingo.

Final Thoughts

There’s no single right choice here. It’s more about what you feel like playing at the time.

Slots are still the easiest to jump into, especially if you don’t want to think too much. Table games slow things down a bit and give you more control. Game shows are something else entirely, more about the experience than just the result.

Try a few, switch when you get bored, and don’t overthink it. That’s usually how you discover what you actually enjoy.
