Transfermarkt, the website specialising in football statistics, has released its latest update on player market values, which sees three stars sharing the top spot on the list of the world’s most valuable players.

Topping the list are Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, and Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé, each with a market value of €200 million (around $216 million).

Despite the age gap, Yamal (18) continues to establish himself amongst the elite, standing out alongside Haaland (25) and Mbappé (27) with his impressive performances, cementing his status as one of the most promising young talents in world football.

Behind this trio come Pedri González and Vinícius Júnior in fourth place, each with a market value of €150 million, €50 million behind the leaders.

One of the most notable surprises in the update is the presence of Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembélé at the bottom of the list, despite having won both the Ballon d’Or awarded by France Football magazine and FIFA’s The Best award for 2025.

The list of the 20 most valuable players also lacks any names from Serie A, a situation that reflects the decline in the market presence of Serie A clubs compared to other major European leagues.
