US reportedly murders five civilians in Strait of Hormuz

The US has reportedly massacred five civilians in the Strait of Hormuz during a failed attempt to challenge Iran’s control of its sovereign waterway.

The US claimed it had targeted and sunk six Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) vessels, which had attempted to interfere with a US mission to escort stranded ships out of the Strait of Hormuz.

However, an unnamed Iranian commander has since claimed that US forces actually attacked passenger vessels.

Strait of Hormuz attack happened on 4 May

Tehran has reportedly launched an investigation, which found that US forces had “attacked two small boats carrying people on their way from Khasab on the coast of Oman to the coast of Iran on Monday”.

The attacks destroyed the boats and killed all five civilian passengers. The commander said the US “must be held accountable for their crime”.

The Iranian military has described the “lethal escalation” as a “hasty and clumsy” reaction. Of course, this is rooted in the US military’s “excessive fear” of IRGC naval capabilities.

‘Project freedom’

This all follows Donald Trump’s announcement of ‘Project Freedom’. He claimed the US operation would break Iranian control over the waterway and allow commercial strips through.

However, Iran’s central command quickly responded. It stated it would attack any foreign armed force that tried to approach or enter the strait with “swift and decisive action”, especially “the aggressive US army”.

As it stands, about 3,000 ships and 20,000 sailors are stranded in the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump has claimed he will blow Iran “off the face of the Earth” if it attacks US vessels. This seems pretty much like a call for genocide, which is perfectly on brand for Trump.

Of course, Iran is well within its rights to block the strait or to charge vessels to pass through it.

The entire basis of the US and Israel’s illegal and unprovoked attacks on Iran was a lie. Iran did not have nuclear weapons. Yet the US is still attempting to bullshit the world.

Trump’s government also has a history of bombing civilian boats in the Caribbean, which he is clearly trying to emulate here. He is literally committing terrorism on behalf of Israel and the entire Epstein class.

Europeans literally built the US on colonialism, ethnic cleansing and genocide. So, of course, the US is still using bullshit excuses in an attempt to bypass Iranian sovereignty.
