In the final round of group matches in the Arab Cup, Jordan dealt a crushing blow to Egypt’s hopes for progression. Despite already having qualified for the tournament, they beat Egypt with a resounding 3-0 victory.

The Jordanian team, nicknamed “Al-Nashama” (The Chivalrous Ones), delivered a powerful performance, confirming their dominance in the group and maintaining their perfect record of three consecutive wins.

Egypt entered the match under the pressure of needing a win to qualify, but the Jordanian team appeared more organised and effective, scoring three goals that effectively ended the Pharaohs’ ambitions. Egypt appeared without clear attacking solutions and without a response that would have given them a chance to stay in the competition. For the first time in history, they failed to secure a single victory in the group stage.

Arab Cup progresses: UAE Capitalizes on Egypt’s Defeat and Secures Qualification

Elsewhere in Group C, the UAE national team secured their qualification with a crucial 3-1 victory over Kuwait, claiming the second qualifying spot in the group.

The UAE capitalized on Egypt’s elimination, joining Jordan in the next round after a balanced and effective performance throughout the group stage.

The third group stage concluded with an unexpected and dramatic twist: Jordan topped the group with three wins, the UAE continued their steady progress, while the Egyptian national team exited the tournament early, in one of the group’s most controversial and surprising outcomes.
