Thank you so much for your support. It means the world to us. If you’re having trouble signing into The Canary or updating your membership plan, please follow the steps below:
Go to www.thecanary.co and click on Sign in at the top left of the page:
Enter your Canary username and password and click Log In. Unless you’ve changed it, your username will be the email address you used to sign up with. You can also reset your password if needed, by clicking Forgot Password.
Please note: You need to be signed in to see the ad-free version of the site. Checking the Remember Me box will ensure you stay signed in on that device. You will need to sign in and tick Remember Me for each device you use to access the site.
After logging in to The Canary (see instructions above), you’ll be taken to your account page. There, please click on Subscriptions (below Update Profile):
On the Subscriptions page, choose Change Plan:
That will bring up a box allowing you to choose a new payment plan. Click on the arrows to bring up the full list of plans:
Select the plan you want to choose:
Click Select Plan to confirm:
Check your details, choose your payment method (card or PayPal), tick or untick the boxes as preferred, and click Sign Up:
You will then be taken through the payment process for card payment or payment by PayPal.
Please note: updating your plan will automatically cancel your old plan and start a new one. You may receive an email saying you have cancelled your plan – this refers to the cancellation of your old plan. You can check your account page to see which plan you are currently subscribed to.
Whether you are a member or not, you can sign up for the daily digest from The Canary. Just enter your email address, first name and last name on this page and you’ll receive a round-up of Canary articles in your inbox each morning.
