The despicable and parlous state of Westminster politics is such that a Tory MP is one of the few in House of Commons speaking up for Palestinian rights. Throughout the genocide, North-West Hampshire MP Kit Malthouse has been one of a handful of MPs prepare to call Israel’s genocide what it is and to scrutinise the government for its collusion – and has particularly identified the Starmer regime’s treatment of Palestinian lives as far less valuable than those of Israelis.
And he did so again yesterday, demanding answers from Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper as to why she welcomed the release of Israelis and Israeli bodies, but ignored the ten thousand Palestinians held captive and mutilated bodies released. And, he questioned Cooper on the creation of a so-called ‘peace’ plan, in reality a formalised occupation, that has excluded the Palestinians of Gaza from any say in, or control over, their own lives and futures, as this clip published by photographer and activist Misan Harriman shows:
Keir Starmer and his cronies are literally worse than the Tories – and especially Kit Malthouse.

For some strange reason, he didn’t look particularly convinced about her claim that “recognising” a nation currently being openly genocided and openly annexed by people who have donated $100s of thousands to her and her fellow ministers was very sincere.
There’s always a handful of decent Tory MPs, like the Worthing MP who opposed the attacks on migrants, even after BloJo ‘cleaned house’ of the more liberal Tories.
