Protesters, many of them Jewish, gathered again outside the BBC in London this evening. They were there to demand an end to the broadcaster’s refusal to cover the hunger strike of six political prisoners.

The six prisoners on hunger strike are part of the ‘Filton 24’ group of Palestine Action activists that have been refused bail.

They have been held in pretrial detention for well over a year over their activism against Israel’s genocide in Gaza. The Prisoners for Palestine movement is:

The Starmer regime seems determined to punish activists acquitted by juries in past cases. They have also been weaponising anti-terror legislation to deny people the 24-four hour bail. This occurs despite no terror-related offences having been brought forward.

Jewish Israeli anti-genocide activist Yael Kahn, frequently hounded by the police  — like many other Jewish critics of Israel.

Chiara Contrino, who attended the BBC protest, has again kindly provided exclusive footage and images.

As well as many anti-Zionist Jews — frequently airbrushed out of anti-genocide protests by the BBC and other media — the London Irish Brigade played a prominent role:

Demonstrators also provided footage of a speech by Shahmina, the sister of hunger striker Kamran Ahmed, when she delivered a speech at the national march for Palestine last Sunday:

Photographer Martin Gavin provided an image from last Thursday’s protest outside Downing Street:

Another attendee, who asked not to be named, provided footage of a speech from last night’s event as well as additional images:

Activist photographer ‘BetterThanReal’, too:

The UK has become a police state as Starmer tries to protect Israel from scrutiny and consequences.

Meanwhile, the BBC remains silent on the hunger strike of prisoners condemning Israel’s actions in Gaza.
