Sky finally covers Israel torturing toddler — but smears dad and omits half story

Sky News has finally covered Israel’s torture of one-year-old toddler — three days after the Canary and other independent outlets and five days after the news first broke in Arabic media. But typically, the broadcaster only covered half the story — and masked the other half with baseless Israeli propaganda.

Sky dressed up the cigarette burns and nail wounds inflicted on little Jawad Abu Nassar as ‘suspected’ signs of torture. It left out that the torture lasted ten hours. It omitted completely that Israeli guards tortured the little boy to force his father to make a false confession of belonging to Hamas. And then Sky parroted the Israeli military’s claim that the dad — who is still missing — is a member of Hamas:

UN-accredited human rights expert Mohamad Safa was a lot more thorough in his description:

Israel kidnapped and tortured a one-year-old child in front of his father for 10 hours, burning cigarettes and inserting nails into his legs, in an attempt to extract a false confession under duress.

Unforgivably shoddy by Sky News — but lightyears ahead of the BBC, which still hasn’t mentioned either Jawad or his torture by Israeli abductors. It is likewise silent on all the other children Israel has tortured for decades.

Israel should know better. They know what to be subjected to GENOCIDE is like and they are now doing what HItler did to them! To be honest I’m not surprised, many years ago I was 100% with Israel, now along with probably 90% of the world I am totally against Israel and their Genocide attempts, they should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.
