US denies Iran hit warship trying to sneak through Strait of Hormuz

The Trump regime and the US military have denied that two Iranian missiles hit one of its warships as it tried to slip through the Iranian-controlled Strait of Hormuz. Tehran had warned Washington of retaliation if the US attacked again or attempted to pass through the Strait before a genuine peace deal is agreed.

US ‘Central Command’ (Centcom) issued the denial on the ‘X’ social media platform.

The conflicting reports came as Centcom claimed it would ‘guide’ ships through the Strait. A Korean vessel apparently under US escort has reported that it was struck as it tried to transit the narrow waterway.

Iran responded to the US ‘escort’ plan that “any foreign military force, especially the invading American army” would be attacked if it attempted to enter or even approach the Strait of Hormuz.

Update: Tehran has said the US vessel ignored repeated warnings to turn back before it was fired upon.
