Even Ed Davey just managed to shame Zionist Keir Starmer over Israel

UK Lib Dems leader Ed Davey has slammed Keir Starmer over the Labour Party PM’s response to Israel’s plan to invade Gaza City. Moreover, Davey also exposed just how sycophantic Starmer is to the Zionist entity – as even the Lib Dem leader managed to call Israel’s plans out for what they are.

Israel: taking over Gaza City

On Friday 8 August, the Israeli security cabinet authorised a plan to fully occupy Gaza City, marking a major escalation in the offensive. Netanyahu asserts this move is needed for security, expressing intent to eventually hand control to “friendly Arab forces.” Of course, this is not what is happening. What is happening is that Israel is enacting its plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza of the Palestinian people.

NGOs such as ActionAid UK warned that the plan flagrantly breaches international humanitarian law. They described the move as a “horrifying escalation” that would forcibly displace hundreds of thousands of Palestinians already suffering from starvation, urging immediate action including arms embargoes and sanctions.

UN Human Rights Chief Volker Türk denounced the plan, stating it directly contradicts the International Court of Justice’s mandate to end Israel’s occupation and undermines any path to a two-state solution. Turkey condemned the scheme as a “heavy blow” to peace and demanded collective international intervention to halt it.

China voiced “serious concerns,” warning that Gaza is inherently Palestinian territory and pressing for an immediate ceasefire as the only feasible avenue to de-escalation.

However, predictably Starmer’s response was tepid to Israel’s latest escalation of its genocide. He said:

The Israeli government’s decision to further escalate its offensive in Gaza is wrong, and we urge it to reconsider immediately. This action will do nothing to bring an end to this conflict or to help secure the release of the hostages. It will only bring more bloodshed.

Every day the humanitarian crisis in Gaza worsens and hostages taken by Hamas are being held in appalling and inhuman conditions. What we need is a ceasefire, a surge in humanitarian aid, the release of all hostages by Hamas and a negotiated solution. Hamas can play no part in the future of Gaza and must leave as well as disarm.

Together with our allies, we are working on a long-term plan to secure peace in the region as part of a two-state solution, and ultimately achieve a brighter future for Palestinians and Israelis.

But without both sides engaging in good faith in negotiations, that prospect is vanishing before our eyes.

Our message is clear: a diplomatic solution is possible, but both parties must step away from the path of destruction.

Call it what it is

Zionist Starmer’s weak response drew anger from other British politicians.

The UK Green Party weighed in – with its co-leader Ellie Chowns saying:

[Benjamin] Netanyahu’s brutal plan to take control of Gaza is yet another declaration of intent to commit war crimes.

The UK must do more than express disapproval: end military cooperation and arms sales, recognise Palestine, demand an immediate ceasefire and accountability for war crimes.

Yet interestingly, Davey was also forceful. He said:

Netanyahu’s plans to occupy the whole of Gaza are utterly abhorrent – and it’s increasingly clear that his goal is ethnic cleansing.

This plan will only serve to wreak more devastation on the lives of millions of Gazans – whose homes and communities have already been destroyed – while endangering the lives of those hostages still held by Hamas.

Rather than sitting on its hands and issuing strongly worded statements, the UK government needs to take decisive action. Keir Starmer needs to stop the export of all UK arms to Israel – today – and sanction Netanyahu and his cabinet.

Israel and Starmer: united in war crimes

Israel’s plan to militarily occupy Gaza City is not merely a strategic decision—it represents a humanitarian and moral abyss. It violates international legal frameworks, proving beyond doubt that Israel’s goal via genocide and war crimes is the ethnic cleansing of Gaza.

The overwhelming international criticism underscores a near-global consensus: this is not an act of self-defence, but one of aggression and disintegration of any remaining path to peace. However, few leaders have gone far enough – not least among them Zionist Starmer. As to truly call out what Israel is doing would risk undermining the entire Zionist project – something no leader in the West is willing to do.

Did even Thatchers regime call for the ANC to be disarmed and disbanded in the face of SA Apartheid atrocities?
