The Israeli government spent over £50,000 trying to launder its image through Reform UK officials during a private tour last November. A senior party member quietly toured occupied Syrian territory and visited extremists’ police headquarters with a sanctioned far-right minister — a newly leaked financial trails reveal. This disgusting state-funded delegation completely shatters the party’s anti-establishment myth before it’s even gotten off the ground.
Spinning a lobbying web
This pricey trip is not an isolated incident. The Israeli state is hedging its bets and aggressively courting Reform UK as it surges in public opinion polls. Leaked data bills the trip to the genocidal state as luxurious, six-day event in which Richard Tice’s chief of staff joined several other Reform figures to tour the Golan Heights. A region which the UN and EU recognise as occupied Syrian territory. Far-right national security minister Itamar Ben-Gvir’s police headquarters were also a part of the tour. The UK sanctioned Ben-Gvir last year for inciting extremist violence and damning human rights abuses.
Tice, Reform’s deputy leader, was previously treated to his own £6,500 trip to the genocidal state, paid for by the newly established Reform Friends of Israel. Of course, Tice returned to the UK claiming that the famine in Gaza was a “blatant lie”.
This new Reform Friends of Israel appears to be, unsurprisingly, acting as the party’s main lobbying conduit. It was set up by Jason Pearlman, a British-born operative who was previously international media advisor to President Isaac Herzog. So of course he knows his propaganda. Herzog faces criticism after a UN commission found he had personally incited genocide in Gaza, obviously. Pearlman admitted to holding a dinner with Reform leader, Nigel Farage, to secure seed funding whilst still working for Herzog.
And of course Pearlman has flatly denied that Israel has commited even a single war crime. He has also dismissed documented reports of torture used against Palestinian political prisoners as “the minutiae of individual claims”.
Why are Reform hiding?
Shockingly, Reform Friends of Israel is keeping its donors and its membership list close to its chest. I don’t know what is it about political figures in the UK who join these various Friends of Israel groups and are worried about admitting it. If you’re going to support a genocidal, lawless state, at least have the guts to publicly stand by it. It just makes it seem like these politicians are fully aware of what they’re supporting. But I suppose £50,000 trips to violently occupied countries don’t come along all the time.
Despite refusing to tell us names, Pearlman admitted a telling truth to journalists regarding the shadowy group’s finances:
I’m sure some of the people who fund CFI (Conservative Friends of Israel) and LFI (Labour Friends of Israel) will also be funding RFI.
So when Reform have been screaming from the studio of GB News on a daily basis that they’re somehow ‘anti-establishment,’ it appears that they’re just a mixture of two different kinds of establishment. Both well known, both shitty. So now this administration has shat on its branding, it’s obvious to those who pay attention that they’re just more of the same. Although try telling Reform voters that. They’re funded by the exact same network of anonymous establishment shadows as Labour and the Tories. They all dip their little pig snouts into the same Israeli trough.
Corporate warmongers have found a home in Reform
The party alignment becomes even clearer when looking at local council leadership. James John O’Neil, leader on Blackpool council, is an active officer employed at BAE systems. His employment at the Samlesbury plant in Lancashire links him to the manufacturing of the rear fuselage components for F-35 fighter jets, which are supplied to and are used by Israel. Because of course a Reform council leader also makes weapons to kill innocent people, why wouldn’t he?
Both these ties to the Israeli lobby as well as having elected party officials on occupied land isn’t a good look. Not only are they passively contributing to a genocide, but one of their politicians is actively making machine parts to fuel the war machine.
Reform are nothing but Israeli lapdogs, actively participating in their genocide.
Empty words mean more war
This arms pipeline and high level of lobbying has exposed a massive hypocrisy. Reform has spent a load of time courting votes in working-class communities all over the UK. And they’ve targeted them by weaponising anti-immigrant rhetoric. Yet the party is openly aligned with the very entities, such as BAE Samlesbury and foreign forces, that literally create mass human displacement and refugees. Make it make sense.
While working-class communities are struggling and force-fed empty promises, Reform’s political elite are busy rubbing shoulders with international oppressors on luxury £50,000 trips to occupied lands. This lobbying directly exposes the party’s populist posturing as total bullshit. When we pull back the veil, Farage’s gross little party operates exactly like Labour and the Tories. But then again, what do you expect when you welcome washed-up ex-Tories in with open arms? They’re all the same. Begging for foreign handouts, ignoring an actual genocide and further feeding the war machine.
Reform isn’t the alternative to the neo-liberal, war-hungry uniparty. It’s just the latest face of it.
