On an exciting night of football, the UAE national team secured a place in the semi-finals of the 2025 Arab Cup in Qatar after defeating Algeria on penalties, following a 1-1 draw in regular time.

The UAE team played one of its best matches of the tournament, showing defensive solidity and mental strength, before sealing the victory from the penalty spot and causing a huge upset by eliminating one of the favourites.

With this victory, the UAE team qualifies for a tough match against Morocco in the semi-finals, in a new test of its surprise ambitions.

Arab Cup — Jordan continues its journey

In an equally exciting match, the Jordanian team continued its steady progress with a 1-0 victory over Iraq, in a game characterised by competitiveness and fighting spirit until the final whistle.

The Nashama knew how to control the tempo and maintain their lead, booking their place in the semi-finals and setting up a highly anticipated clash with Saudi Arabia.
