Polanski hits back as rattled Starmer targets the Greens

Since Keir Starmer won the 2024 election, he and his party have become increasingly unpopular. Since Zack Polanski became the Green leader, meanwhile, his party has gone from strength to strength.

Hoping to reverse these trends, Starmer has ordered his lackeys to take the fight to the Greens. And as you might expect, Polanski has welcomed it:

Starmers worried about the Green Party challenging this governments failures.

Polanski Problems

As reported by HuffPost, a ‘government source’ said:

The honeymoon is over for Zack Polanski’s party.

Beyond the social media soundbites there are some scary policies that need to be exposed.

Under his leadership, the Greens have become a hot bed of anti-semitism and economic incompetence that would make Britain defenceless, drug-addled and bankrupt within a week.

They’re not as nice as they seem and voters need to know what’s hidden under the surface before it’s too late.

Tough words for a government source too cowardly to give their name. Also, it’s ‘hotbed’ — not ‘hot bed’ — the term doesn’t refer to a ‘bed which is hot’, ffs; it refers to a bed of earth which is heated by a pile of fermenting manure.

Let’s go through Labour’s attack plan anyway:

A ‘hot bed’ of anti-semitism: We went through this with Corbyn, and as we said back then, this smear was used by Israel’s supporters to detract from Israel’s actions. How well does Starmer think this will go down now that Israel has committed a genocide with backing from his Labour government?

For an example of Labour’s one-sidedness on the topic of antisemitism:

Rachel Reeves, who has published a glowing biography of notorious antisemite Nazi-sympathiser Nancy Astor, claims that 'antisemitism was rife in the Labour party' when Corbyn was leader pic.twitter.com/IgvninkZ6s

— j (@jrc1921) May 17, 2024

Also, let’s not ignore this glaring irony:

Starmer plans to attack the only Jewish party leader over antisemitism.

He wants to attack Zack Polanski for challenging Britain's role as lapdog to Donald Trump.

What does this tell us?

Labour is very rattled – and they absolutely should be. https://t.co/4H1uPvu4C6

It’s extremely concerning that he’s weaponising antisemitism against a party with a Jewish leader.
Has he not read the boy who cried wolf? Screaming antisemitism at anything you don’t like delegitimises an important issue. Shame on him https://t.co/0uTxpWlpum

Economic incompetence: Labour’s chancellor is an emotional wreck who presided over the most chaotic budget in recent memory, generating the absolute maximum amount of negative press possible:

— Bill Curtis (@billcurtis0) July 2, 2025

This goes some way towards explaining why no one trusts Labour on the economy:

‼️ POLL | 8 in 10 Brits say Labour is handling the British economy badly, a net rating of -63.

✅ Well 14% (-2)
❌ Badly 77% (+4)

Drug addled: The UK is already ‘drug addled’ — drugs are incredibly easy to get hold of, and that’s under KEIR STARMER. The Green proposal is to treat drugs like alcohol (with more restrictions for certain drugs) so as to eliminate the gangs and to decriminalise everyday people.

In other words, the Greens want to end the drug prohibition which mirrors the US’s alcohol prohibition that supercharged organised crime in the early 20th century.

Saying all that, we would support one last drug criminalisation before we give up on the Yank’s failed War on Drugs ideology:

In 2022, Keir Starmer was asked if he'd taken drugs.

He joked: "I had a good time when I was younger!"

Starmer, you see, thinks other people should be criminalised for doing exactly what he clearly did.

A truly vile man!pic.twitter.com/vJvmXo3Fd5 https://t.co/5FH23vI8Un

— Owen Jones (@owenjonesjourno) January 21, 2026

Get this druggy fuckup in the clink!

Negative polarisation

The problem Labour have is that the public is negatively polarised by whatever Starmer supports or opposes. This was best seen with Digital ID, with support for the proposal nosediving after the PM threw his weight behind it:

Support for digital ID has collapsed.

Before Starmer’s announcement:
35% net support

After Starmer’s announcement:
-14% net support

Given Starmer’s reverse Midas touch, we welcome Labour giving more attention to the Greens.

If anything, Polanski should consider Starmer to be his new Head of Juicing the Membership.
