Geoff Naylor is a retired local government officer formerly employed in estates management.

He has a particular interest in economics and has had several letters published in a variety of newspapers, including the Guardian, mainly on the topic of neoliberalism.

Although having received no formal tuition in economics he believes his unlearned heretical perspective is needed to help break the received wisdom of orthodox teaching and practice in light of the current adverse impacts on life, cost and standard of living, international currencies and the natural world.
