Breaking: Labour MP West: I’ll challenge Starmer if no one else does

Hornsey and Friern Barnet Labour MP Catherine West has announced that she is prepared to try to challenge and depose Keir Starmer. West said that if no cabinet minister puts themselves forward by Monday, she will. A growing number of the party’s MPs have called for Starmer to resign after this week’s disastrous local election results. West told the BBC she currently has the backing of 10 MPs and is “confident” of gathering enough to trigger the contest.

Starmer has so far refused to step down, instead opting for a classic Titanic deckchair shuffle. In a transparent display of moral and political bankruptcy, his idea of ‘change’ is to dredge up two Blairite dinosaurs. 2010 loser Gordon Brown and paedophile advocate Harriet Harman have been brought back into government as advisers. Harman, in a ‘you couldn’t make it up’ moment, is the new ‘adviser for women and girls’. Clearly two or three paedophile pal scandals in Starmer’s set-up weren’t enough.

Labour — No panacea

West is anything but a panacea. An Israel supporter, she claimed to have left Labour Friends of Israel before the Gaza genocide over its backing for Israeli violence. However, during the genocide she voted in favour of banning Palestine Action as a terrorist group and did not sign letters for sanctions on Israel or for Britain to enact the International Criminal Court arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu.

Still, at least it would mean no more listening to Starmer’s sociopathic whining.

Sounds like a stalking horse for another Mediocre challenger.
Labour is finished & time for the Left to start the long term project to End Neo-Liberalism but this time we have a COLLECTIVISM WITH citizens giving workers & communities a say.

Starmer wasn’t voted in on a mandate to allow the RAF to fly intelligence gathering reconnaissance flights over Gaza, or to enable the criminalisation of those members of the electorate who protest the genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza. But having broken every pledge he used to get elected, that’s where we are. And the foreign power that he and over 50 standing Labour MPs have an unholy allegiance to, will be under pressure to maintain the pro Zionist stance that Starmer has publically declared. It’ll be interesting to see if he capitulates, and
who takes his place, where their allegiance lays, and what happens to them as a result

MacDonnell is suggesting that West – as described, a fully signed up Israeli lobbyist – wants to get early elections to freeze out Burnham in favour or Streeting. Basically, back to Plan A. Hence MacDonnell advocating ‘an orderly process’.

Interesting to look at this from the perspective of Likud and the rest of the Israeli cabinet. For them its a moment of crisis (and at a time when they are rather preoccupied managing Trump and Co), and they need to ensure that their UK people are manipulated into place. The ‘antisemitism’ slur can be wheeled out, albeit with diminishing effects, to ‘character assassinate’ dangerous rivals and commentators. But this may be ‘not enough’.

    What next?

The problem with Labour is not its leader, who is Kakistocratic, appointed by the Labour oligarchs to carry out the programme of global reductionism
After losing elections, the leader of the party invites not the electorate or the party members by the autocratic kleptocrats who sold the UK to tax havens
Labour lost because the party is corrupt to the core. It was not just Labour but Conservatives that lost
Why did Reform win? It could be in the name – people voted for a need to reform. It could also be the multi billion $$ free advertising given to the far right by the British media, the party is seen as the only place to cast the vote to oppose the state

Right Wing Labour did a deal with capital- they become ‘Safe’ and the billionaire Right Wing media give them a free run oh and from them you accept their Neo-Liberalism promoting Trilateral Commission Man in the UK Starmer as Lab Leader.
I’d describe most Labour members as generally politically Lightweight they are often poorly read, generally lack critical thinking skills & are frightened of being radical, and perhaps have a mental picture in their heads of the ideal Leader, a Blair or Burnham lookalike with the latter political Lightweight offering better quality crumbs from the Neo-Liberal capitalist’s table whilst we Your Party left wing Democratic Socialists want to actually transform society; we actually want the fecking table for diverse working class people & all citizens who really create the wealth and make societies work.
You almost have to pity Right Wing Lab, in terms of the progress of humanity they might well have never existed.
“When you stand for NOTHING you have EVERYTHING to lose!”
We need to start the long term project of Ending Neo-Liberalism (which would be beyond Lightweight Burnham) and build back to Collectivism but this time instead of top down “Bureaucratic Paternalism” we have A COLLECTIVISM WITH workers & citizens giving them a say.
Right Wing Lab lacks the political acumen &
    bottle to challenge Neo-Liberalism
but Your Party has the will and you never know the Greens might soon come to the End Neo-Liberalism in the World Party.
It took the Neo-Liberals 40 years to capture Right Wing parties now it’s our turn to start turning the wheels of history on the side of the oppressed of the world and those who
    are on our side.
    Solidarity.

Oh Dear, latest on Starmer: He wants to put Labour “At the heart of (Neo-Liberal captured) Europe.” Hmmn.
The Trilateral Commission’s Man in the UK is a political numbskull and has learnt nothing from Right Wing Labour’s recent massive drubbing.
How many times must Right Wing Lab keep slapping working class voters in the face who dared to vote for Brexit?
Another political gift to Reform from
Starmer as WE the real Left try to fight them.
    Starmer’s = politically Gormless!
