EXCLUSIVE: Corbyn says members of ‘non-national’ parties NOT barred from Your Party membership

Jeremy Corbyn has told Skwawkbox that concerns about the rules of the new ‘Your Party’ banning members of other local party initiatives – for example Liverpool Community Independents or ‘Arise’ in Harrow registered by Peace and Justice Project director Pam Fitzpatrick – are unfounded.

Corbyn: members of non-national parties can join Your Party

Corbyn told Skwawkbox that this will:

not be the case as [parties like] Liverpool Independents are not a nationally registered party.

Corbyn and Zarah Sultana yesterday posted a new link for would-be members to join Your Party and clarified that those who paid to join via the link posted last week by Sultana will be carried over to the new system.
