Video: far-right rally pulls sexual abuse survivor off stage after she says her abusers were white
A far-right rally in Hull has physically forced a sexual abuse survivor off stage, to boos and jeers – after initially standing proudly with her – after she said that the grooming gang who sexually abused her were not brown immigrants, but a group of white English men.

The brave woman told the crowd that she was groomed for sexual abuse at the age of eleven, but then said:
I am disgusted with all of you – it wasn’t an immigrant, it was multiple white men!
She had to fight to complete her statement as the racist thugs tried to drag her away and the crowd, gradually realising she wasn’t feeding their bigotry, yelled “F*** off!”, with one recorded magnanimously saying “Well we gave her a chance”:
One of the organisers of the rally had posted to Facebook the previous week to promote it, saying:
Although this is not one of my groups events I have been involved in organising and pulling it together in support of United Hull Against Grooming Gangs and Together for The Children.
Hmmm. Figures and research show that sexual abusers, rapists, and grooming gangs in the UK are predominantly white and English-born – an inconvenient fact for those who want to sell the idea that sexual abuse is a Muslim or immigrant issue.
Given the treatment of the brave survivor on Saturday, it seems the motto of the racist right is “Protect are women – but not from us!”

Please think a little more before you submit an article, as this one does little to help dispel myths and lies about Muslims. “Figures and research show that sexual abusers, rapists, and grooming gangs in the UK are predominantly white and English-born – an inconvenient fact for those who want to sell the idea that sexual abuse is a Muslim or immigrant issue” – but the population of the UK is overwhelmingly white and British-born. Is the proportion of Muslim/migrant men convicted of sexual offences lower, the same or higher than their proportions in the UK population as a whole? The news reports linked to the article are unhelpful in that respect.
That is not directly relevant to the post and entirely a separate topic…
Whatever, it appears to me that whilst not exclusively “non white immigrants”, grooming gang networks are predominantly such.
Whereas “white native” sexual abuse of minors is more likely incestuous and well hidden within families.
The social dynamics are entirely different.
The very courageous young lady survivor calling out the truth of the matter is to be admired and deserves our special prayers.

Whatever, it appears to me that whilst not exclusively “non white immigrants”, grooming gang networks are predominantly such.
Whereas “white native” sexual abuse of minors is more likely incestuous and well hidden within close family networks and not the same as the “extended family” of the non white immigrant networks.
The social dynamics are very different, and immigrants from repressive environments may be strongly influenced by their perceptions of our Western permissive society.
The very courageous young lady survivor calling out the truth of the matter is to be admired and deserves our special prayers.
