Starmer’s local Labour council leader loses seat in ‘Greenslide’ despite ‘chicken run’

Camden council leader Richard Olszewski has lost his place on the council after the whole ward in which he stood went Green. Camden is ‘Labour’ ‘PM’ Keir Starmer’s local council. He and his acolytes have long treated the area as a personal fiefdom. The Canary yesterday predicted significant losses for the party in the borough.

The news is the latest cherry on the cake of a disastrous day for Starmer’s rotting corpse of what used to be Labour.

Greenslide

In November 2025, Olszewski fled to what he thought was a safer seat to avoid a perceived threat from the Lib Dems. But the ‘Greenslide’ in his new area has washed him away like so much flotsam.
