Another Reform candidate praises Oswald Moseley — A rite of party initiation?

Yet another of Reform’s local election candidates has come out as a fan of Oswald Mosley. This is disturbing because Mosley wasn’t just the most notorious British fascist — he was a personal friend of Adolf Hitler who attended Mosley’s second wedding.

Of course, this Reform candidate isn’t the first to praise Mosley. He’s not even the first one exposed for doing so today, as we’ll get into.

“Oswald was right”

The latest Reform candidate attracting controversy is Andrew Mahon. He dresses like Doctor Who if the only pattern available were a Windows 97 screensaver.

Mahon has attracted controversy for posting:

Oswald was right 100%… we need an educational correction in the U.K. Powell and Moseley (sic) were correct, multiculturism [sic] has failed, it has been an unmitigated disaster.”

The argument with these people always boils down to: ‘if multiculturalism works, how come I’m still a racist fucking clown?‘

Hope not Hate researcher Joe Mulhall said the following about Mahon:

Oswald Mosley’s British Union of Fascists was a virulently antisemitic movement and in 1936 Adolf Hitler was a guest of honour at his second wedding, held in secret in Nazi Germany. Mosley was imprisoned in 1940, following the outbreak of the Second World War, after which he became a leading voice in Holocaust denial. Saying Mosley ‘was right’ reveals just how extreme this candidate is.

That’s “extreme” in comparison to normal members of the public; not in comparison to other Reform candidates.

Mulhall also said:

Reform candidates expressing extreme views is unfortunately unsurprising, but it’s nevertheless shocking to see one supporting Britain’s most notorious fascist leader.

We get the point he’s making, but it’s actually not shocking at this point. The following are just some of the candidates we’ve covered in the runup to the 2026 local elections:

  • Reform activist said ‘Hitler was right’.
  • Reform have put a suspended racist in charge of campaign finances.
  • Another Reform candidate has praised Enoch Powell.
  • Reform welcomes ‘shoot the p*kis’ scandal ex-Tory.
  • Reform UK accused of ‘nil vetting’ as another racist candidate exposed.
  • Video emerges of Reform’s ‘Nazi salute’ candidate drink driving.

The Reform candidate who praised Enoch Powell (another notorious racist) also praised Mosley — his name is Arnold Tabor.

Tabor had many more grim things to say:

Tabor also has a plan for the migrants who do make it to the UK, a “huge walled workhouse city” with “no pay only a roof over their head and 2 meals a day”, conditions that sound a lot like slavery in the 1800s.

Do we really need to create a 1984-style dystopia because insecure dweebs don’t recognise the hatred they feel is spawned from self-loathing?

Can we not just have cheaper groceries and energy security?

Mahon isn’t the only Reform candidate being exposed today either:

Reform UK just got a new councillor, Michael Felse.

Same guy who defended a UKIP candidate for supporting Oswald Moseley and using the term “n*g n*gs”.

Not only defending it, but using the term to.

Reform also just elected this hump:

A former drag queen who once led Manchester Pride has been elected as a Reform UK councillor and has called on councils to stop funding Pride events.

There’s always more

As the Mirror reported, Mahon has additionally faced criticism for using the ‘n’ word and being misogynistic towards a Green MP. That’s unsurprising to hear, of course, because every one of these Reform candidates is like a rotten onion.

The more layers you peel back, the slimier they get.
