Restore backed group splits racist vote, stopping Reform taking Norfolk

A group backed by Restore Britain has stopped Reform UK from gaining full control of Norfolk County Council in the local elections, by effectively splitting the racist vote.

Great Yarmouth First, which Restore Britain endorsed, won all nine seats it contested with 4.8% of the total Norfolk vote. This prevented Reform UK from forming a majority.

Reform UK needed 43 seats for a majority but won only 40, with 31.21% of the vote. This means the council is now under no overall control.

Importantly, Norfolk is the home of Rupert Lowe. He is the MP for Great Yarmouth and the founder of Restore Britain.

The Conservative vote collapsed – with the party losing 52 seats.

The Liberal Democrats gained five seats, bringing their total to 13, and the Green Party gained nine, bringing their total to 12.

Labour was only able to retain one seat and lost the other 11.

Restore — Splitting the racists

Essentially, it seems that the Restore-backed group prevented Reform from gaining a majority by splitting the racist vote.

Fascinated with what’s gone on in Norfolk. Reform has surged to be the largest party but without overall control.
Reform could try to run the Council as a minority or negotiate with others. The most likely ‘others’ being Conservatives or Rupert Lowe’s Great Yarmouth First… pic.twitter.com/GpOaXnakvZ

But what is this, except a competition between two rich, white men over who can be the most racist?

Nigel Farage has a net worth of £3.2 million. Even more shockingly, Rupert Lowe has a net worth of £30m.

This goes to show that neither of these men is the voice of the working class, as they claim to be. They could not be further removed from the working class if they tried.

Somewhat unsurprisingly, 94.7% of people in Norfolk are white.

Rupert Lowe has banged on and on about ‘foreign grooming gangs’, despite white British men committing 88% of all sexual offences in the UK, and has regularly made racist and extremist comments. He has been branded ‘one of Britain’s most extreme far-right influencers’.

Similarly, Farage has a long history of racism, Islamophobia, antisemitism, and anti-migrant hatred.

So it is no surprise that both Reform and Restore-backed parties are thriving in areas where fewer than 6% of the population is non-white.

Why? Because white people are all racists?
That strikes me as a racist comment.
