Polanski question leads Khan to reveal he told police to investigate Great Israeli Real Estate event

London mayor Sadiq Khan has condemned the Great Israeli Real Estate event, scheduled for Sunday 14 June in London. This came in response to a question from Green Party leader and London Assembly member Zack Polanski at Mayor’s Question Time.

The event promotes the sale of land in illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank. The Israeli property sector is trying to make inroads in the western market. Actress and questionable ‘wellness’ advocate Gwyneth Paltrow has recently sold her face to developers.

Polanski said:

It is morally incomprehensible and unconscionable that this event is scheduled to take place in our city and I welcome the mayor’s strong condemnation of Sunday’s event and its breaches of international law.

The key question now is what comes out of his talks with the Metropolitan police and the Home Office.

In practical terms, the Met should shut down the event on the grounds that it is unlawful. London risks becoming complicit in settlement expansion if people in our capital are profiting from the theft of Palestinian land.

The mayor should call on the government to cancel this event outright. There is real fear that London is being used as a platform for an event associated with the confiscation of land and the destruction of homes.

The cancellation of this event would demonstrate that London will not tolerate complicity in the dispossession and subjugation of the Palestinian people.

Fascist metropolitan police and their leader fascist Mark Rolley don’t answer to Sadiq Khan because their real masters are the fascist/zionist terrorist Israeli state!

London is now openly endorsing and condoning fascist/zionist terrorist Israel stealing and selling Palestinian land. Echos of what the nazis did when they stole Jewish property and possessions come to mind but then might is always right!

Has the commenter who calls himself the underdog taken the day off? I thought that he had pledged to state under every article mentioning Zack Polanski how wrong he was?

To remind us that he had started out as a Liberal Democrat and his attitude to Palestine/Israel has been evolving?

A question for the underdog, have you never changed your mind about politics, or seen things differently in the light of new knowledge? Maybe Zack is responding to events in the best way that he can, coming from his own unique upbringing, as we all do?

It appears I’ve upset the pro-zionist crowd with my truth telling, fearful I’m exposing their infiltrator, that they now must peddle lies about what party I apparently support. LibDems? Whatever gave you that impression? I support Anti-Zionism. A day off? Who said I had to post every day? I said I would keep reposting to remind the Canary; I did not say I was going to post on every exhausting shill piece for Zack Polanski, certainly not if the Canary keeps blocking posts!
Should I give Zack the benefit of the doubt?
Not really. I heard similar gaslighting arguments from the people who supported Donald Trump when I told them he was a zionist, and look where that got us – bombed out schools in Iran. When the matter at hand is genocide, there can be no half-measures in opposing it, no ‘lets tolerate a little bit zionist genocide’. No, no tolerance for genocide. No tolerance for supporting genocidal zionism. Zack is a zionist; there is no such thing as a ‘liberal zionist’ in the same way there’s no such thing as a ‘liberal slaveowner’ (Canary’s own words!). Greenstein certainly doesn’t have issues opposing it – to the point of being debanked – so why is Zack all talk and no walk?
      Zack Polanski is a zionist
