A body has been found by police searching for missing Belfast teenager Noah Donohoe.

Police believe the body found in North Belfast at around 9.45am on Saturday 27 June is that of the missing 14-year-old, who has not been seen since the evening of 21 June.

Officers said they are continuing to provide support to his family and they have appealed to the public to refrain from speculation.

On Friday 26 June, officers found a bag containing the teenager’s laptop, which was examined by specialist officers.

The discovery came after a member of the public responded to a specific appeal by police for help to find the bag. Superintendent Muir Clark described the discovery of the bag as “significant”.

A huge search operation has been taking place all week to find Noah, who was last seen in areas close to the Shore Road. Police believe he may have fallen from his bicycle and hurt his head.

Our hearts are broken that this wee boy has been found dead. People from both “communities” have searched tirelessly for him , until 3am in the morning in some case’s. I have seen 50 people at 2am with torchlights.
But because our “community” is so divided……, rumours have started that one side is invovled in his death.

I am from the “republican” side, (and I hate to say side) and all I’ve heard in my community is the “loyalist” have got him because he was last seen in a “loyalist” area and the wee lad was a catholic and half caste.
Such is the tactics of the “masters”. Such is the tactics of devision and mistrust.., yet a lesson! A human soul was lost needlessly…….., or maybe he was lost for a reason, to teach us a lesson, that we should love each other.
Both communities are heart-broken, not only for his poor mummy, but the feeling that one of us has suffered. And when one of us suffers, we all suffer! And I’m writing with a sad heart. That hatred still exist!!…. anger still exist!!.. division still exist!!

To his dear mummy..I’m truly sorry for your pain! Tom.
