US forces have pirated another Russian oil tanker, claiming it was bound for Venezuela. This is the third act of piracy in just a week since the US abducted Venezuela’s elected president Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores. The abduction raid killed more than eighty Venezuelan civilians.

The US pirates yet another Russian tanker

The Trump regime claims it has the right to attack the tankers because it has decided that Venezuela is not allowed to produce oil until it surrenders to his demands to reserve its oil industry for the US and ‘kick out’ Russia and China.

Despite the refusal of spineless UK government ministers to say so, the abduction attack was utterly illegal and so is the piracy. The US has no right to Venezuela’s resources, no right to demand whom it must and cannot do business with.

Russia has denounced US “neo-colonial ambitions” and threatened retaliation for stealing its tanker. Trump’s greed and arrogance are pushing the world to the edge of all-out global conflict.
