Welcome to series two of #ToppleUncaged!

Every week, The Canary will be bringing you a new podcast on the media landscape; hosted by me, Steve Topple.

In a special episode, I meet one of the rising stars to come out of Jamaica in 2019. Singer / songwriter Rae Nicole has already had an illustrious career, working with the likes of Maxi Priest and Protoje. But now, she’s spread her wings and is flying solo. Her debut single featuring Indie Allen, Feeling Irie, has already made waves in the reggae / roots scene.

So, I caught up with her to talk about her journey to this point, her influences, her faith and what the future holds for this emerging star.

Enjoy!
