THIS PODCAST CONTAINS LANGUAGE AND CONTENT SOME PEOPLE MAY FIND OFFENSIVE. THE VIEWS EXPRESSED IN THIS EPISODE ARE THE OPINIONS OF THE HOST AND GUESTS.

Welcome to series two of #ToppleUncaged!

Every week, The Canary will be bringing you an innovative podcast for the media landscape; hosted by me, Steve Topple.

In a special episode, I chat with exciting artist Santiina.

Mr Topple x Santiina

Hailing from Jamaica, Santiina has been in the music industry since the tender age of 16. She effortlessly glides between reggae, dancehall, RnB and afrobeat. Moreover, her voice is one of versatility, being equally at home with straight, spine-tingling vocals, rapping or singjay (a mixture of singing and rapping). She recently re-released her moving track Judgement which discusses violence against women, girls and young people, and why society is failing to tackle it.

So, I caught up with Santiina for the #ToppleUncaged podcast. We discussed her musical background, her flipping between genres, Judgement, working with the legendary Spragga Benz and more.

Enjoy!
