Dundee and its unemployment woes won’t be turned around by a new museum and tourism alone

Thanks for stopping by my page!
I live up in Dundee, but originally from Falkirk, and support Scottish Independence. I am a self-confessed politics junkie with a love for peppermint tea. I am a freelance writer for The Canary and a PhD Candidate at Strathclyde Business School. I research employment relations issues in the service sector.
My main interests are Scottish politics, the world of work and LGBTQI+ issues. In my former working life I was a retail manager for Topshop/Topman and lived in London for six years. My career aspiration is to be a part-time academic and continue part-time opinion writing on issues I’m really passionate about.
