Britain decides… to vote for whoever Murdoch tells them to
Image description
This cartoon depicts a mock front page of The Sun newspaper. Next to The Sun masthead is a box with the words “Boris Backer” and a cartoon illustration of Boris Johnson. Underneath that is a main headline that reads “Britain decides” and beneath that a smaller sub-headline that reads “to vote for whoever Murdoch tells them too”. This is illustrated with a sign saying “polling station”. To the left of this is a side bar with an illustration of a roll of wallpaper, a baby’s dummy and a teddy bear. Beneath that it reads “Who cares? Who hasn’t has their nanny paid for and house decorate by a Tory donor?”
We know everyone is suffering under the Tories - but the Canary is a vital weapon in our fight back, and we need your support
The Canary Workers’ Co-op knows life is hard. The Tories are waging a class war against us we’re all having to fight. But like trade unions and community organising, truly independent working-class media is a vital weapon in our armoury.
The Canary doesn’t have the budget of the corporate media. In fact, our income is over 1,000 times less than the Guardian’s. What we do have is a radical agenda that disrupts power and amplifies marginalised communities. But we can only do this with our readers’ support.
So please, help us continue to spread messages of resistance and hope. Even the smallest donation would mean the world to us.

This sneering contempt for the working class is exactly why you will not have a sniff of power for another generation. Disgusting arrogance.
