Andrew comes from an activist background, working on animal rights, environmental, and social justice campaigns. He has used film throughout this work as an important way to communicate ideas and information, something he continues to do in his role as video editor at the Canary.

He is interested in finding ways to dismantle power structures and hierarchies, especially as our current political system isn’t fit for purpose. When feeling overwhelmed, he finds being somewhere in nature – walking in woods, hiking up hills, or swimming in rivers – is the best medicine.
